The Fashion Feast: Paris Fashion Week Fall 2010

Before we discuss our favourite looks from Paris I want you all to know that I'm so devoted to you, dear reader, that I'm now dreaming of fashion. Friday night I dreamt that Valentino himself created me a magnificent gown (this is George here), Saturday night I was front row at the ChloƩ Spring 2010 show and last night I was creating the advertising campaign for the latest Margiela men's collection. What will tonight bring?! So there, I'm devoted! And after that rant... let's take a look at some Paris highlights:

Drape shone through at Paul Smith and Dior Homme: capes and coats were romantic but masculine.

Wooyoungmi frocked their models in these shaggy knits whilst Lanvin paid homage to the mo hawk paired with some seriously high waisted trousers.

Despite this PR disaster the Jean Paul Gaultier boxing themed show went off without a hitch but with plenty of stripes. Dries Van Noten hit back with this subtle pattern clash.

Here's a look for the Melbourne boys: Lanvin made casual layering look oh so stylish whilst Blaak Homme made just shorts, tee and a jacket suddenly very cool.

Suit yourself with length and flow from Yves Saint Laurent or shoulder definition with Kanye's favourite, Louis Vuitton.

Fur and androgyny reined supreme from the ever moody but always impressive Rick Owens and Ann Demeulemeester.

Jean Paul Paula wouldn't be out of placing rocking Romain Kremer's futuristic garb. And finally Damir Doma has given me good reason to call him Damir Doona without sounding like a fool.

Fashion isn't always serious and dark: Issey Miyake showed us how to relax in this super charming coffee jumper and Hermes wasn't getting too deep either with this simple hat and scarf combo.

Next week we'll take a look over the key trends but until then...
