When I found out that black was technically a shade and not a colour it made the question, "What's your favourite colour?" all the harder to answer. That said, the question, "What's your favourite shade?" became considerably easier. Now, I don't want your thinking boxes pondering the colloquial Melbourne catch phrase, "all we wear is black" because as far as I can tell most people from anywhere also wear black!
