Max Tannone has the Skills to Pay the Bills

Spend about 37 seconds with me and I'll probably tell you I'm a die hard Beastie Boys fan. Aside from the rap solo in Waterfalls by TLC (I seen a rainbow yesterday, but too many storms have come and gone...) and any Michael Jackson song that featured some variant of a quickly spoken rhyme it was Beastie Boys that truly helped me to became a Rap God (second only to Jay-Z of course).

Feel free to come into the store and battle me - I'm from Mitcham, so watch yourself shorty.

Now that I've proved that I'm from a "block" we can take a look at Max Tannone's latest effort.

His words: I made the project in support of the Beastie Boys recent reissue of their "Check Your Head" album (one of my personal favorites.) The concept is that the Beastie Boys are mashed up with themselves, rapping over tracks sampling their own instrumentals, with all vocals and sampled elements coming from "Check Your Head".

My words: Agreed. Love a mashup too? Check it HERE.
