μουσική (mousike)

While the sun is smiling we've decided to smile right back at it with some summery jams. Not the type you spread on your English muffin, no, but the ones that inspire you to have picnics and grow tomatoes. Hit play:

The Drums Let's Go Surfing, did you ever play "Yes Let's" in drama class at school? Someone would suggest an action, say... "Let's jump!" and everyone would scream "Yes let's" and jumping madness would ensue. So, I guess it's our turn now, "Let's go surfing" and we hear your voices unite with a momentous "Yes let's"!

The Crayon Fields Mirror Ball. You know when you've had a few too many and you stare at the rotating mirror ball above your head in awe of it's beauty. The Crayon Fields have captured this moment right down to the sticky beer on your hands, dry mouth and foggy vision.

Maps I Dream of Crystal, and if crystals had a soundtrack this would be it. Spacey, dreamy perfection.

The XX Teardrops, the sing-a-long cover for this summer, a beautiful reinterpretation of a classic pop track. No teardrops here just goofy grins and off tune singing.

Islands Vapours. Don't stress if you can't make it to any islands this summer (aside from the giant one the Australian readers live on) because this song will take you there in flash. "I hope you get dancing feet" they sing and we hope so too.

Yours,
Comeback Kid
